ABYTRAVET RACECOURSE
The racecourse of Abytravet can be found in the town of Molndal in Sweden. It is situated just 6 miles from the city of Gothenburg and first opened its gates to racing in 1936. In its early days it provided harness racing and thoroughbred racing, but by October 1976 it only catered for harness racing enthusiasts.
	Its principal race is the Group 1 Olympiatravet run over 2100 metres and held each April. Other feature races include the Group 1 Aby Stora Pris over 1640 metres each September, and the Konung Gustaf V's Pokal over 2140 metres held each May.
