AWAPUNI RACECOURSE
The Awapuni Racecourse is located in the Palmerston North area of Manawbi-Wanganui on the North Island.
	One of its feature races, held each December, is the L J Hooker Manawatu Cup, which was won in 2008 by Jonbalena ridden by Darryl Bradley.
Also held in November is the Feilding Gold Cup sponsored by First Sovereign which Jonbalena also won when ridden by Darryl Bradley. The course also features the Ford Manawata Sires Produce Stakes in March.
	A number of race clubs hold their meets at the track, including Manawata Racing Club, Marton Jockey Club, Feilding Jockey Club and Rangitikei Racing Club.
