CAMBRIDGE GREYHOUND STADIUM

The greyhound track in the university city of Cambridge was situated near Cambridge City football ground at 0° 7' E 52° 12' N and held its inaugural meeting on 6th October 1968. Some 37 years before this date greyhound racing had taken place in Cambridge at two separate venues, one in Cowper Lane and the other in Coldham Lane. The Cambridge City track operated as an independent track until November 1978 and then raced under NGRC rules until 1983.

The track closed on 14th April 1984.
