This was run on Thursday 25th May 1815 and the winner was bred by the 4th Duke of Grafton and trained by Robert Robson. There were 13 runners from an initial entry of 51. The winner won by a short head to claim the first prize of £1,680, the equivalent of £1,130,000 today.
