This was run on Thursday 7th June 1821 and there were 13 runners from an initial entry of 54. The winner won by 1/2 a length to claim a first prize of £1,758 15s, (The equivalent of £183,500 in today's terms based on Bank of England inflation calculator). The winner was bred by the Prince Regent for HM King George IV and trained by Mr Crouch.
