The winner won by 1 1/2 lengths with 1 1/2 lengths between second and third. The winners time was 2 mins 37.6 secs. The winner won a first prize of £8,441 5s, (The equivalent of £546,600 in today's terms based on Bank of England inflation calculator).

Based on their entire career performances this site rates Mid-Day Sun 2lbs higher than Le Ksar and Chulmleigh, and 3lbs higher than Exhibitionist.
