This was run on Wednesday 3rd June 1992 and the winner was bred by the Lyonstown Stud and trained by Peter Chappel-Hyam at Manton, Wiltshire. There were 18 runners and the winning time was 2 mins 36.19 secs. The winner won by 2 lengths with a short head between second and third. The winner won a first prize of £355,000, (The equivalent of £698,400 in today's terms based on Bank of England inflation calculator). The winner was owned by Sidney H.Craig, the second by Virginia Kraft Payson, and the third by Mrs Shirley Robins.
