This was run on Saturday 4th June 2011 and it was hot and sunny. The winner was bred by Lynch Bages Ltd and trained by Andre Fabre. The winner, at 4/1, won by a head. The second was 25/1 and was just collared on the line, whilst the third 3/4 of a length away was the Queen's horse and made the 5/2 favourite.There were 13 runners. The time of the winning horse was 2 mins 34.54 secs.

DERBY 2011

 The winning owners were Derrick Smith, Mrs John Magnier and Michael Tabor. The first prize was £709,625 (The equivalent of £822,200 in today's terms based on Bank of England inflation calculator)
