The Scottish capital city of Edinburgh has had a number of greyhound tracks in the past, the least well know being at the Royal Gymnasium and situated at 3° 11' W 55° 57' N. The independent flapping track first opened on 2nd September 1930, but only operated for 3 years.

It closed its gates for the final time in 1933.
