The Fort Erie racecourse is situated in the Ontario region of Canada. It was built by the Fort Erie Jockey Club and first opened on 16th June 1897. | ||
Its principal race is the Prince of Wales Stakes run over 1
3/16 mile for 3 year olds.

The Prince of Wales was first contested in 1929 when the Henry Little ridden Lion Hearted was successful. | ||
In 2008 the Prince of Wales winner was Harlem Rocker ridden
by Eibar Coa.
