|HAWICK (TARGET HILL) GREYHOUND STADIUM

|The Scottish Border town of Hawick, some 10 miles from Jedburgh and roughly the same distance from Selkirk, boasted two greyhound tracks in the past. The most recent track was situated on Albert Park, but the earliest track to open was on Braid Road at Target Hill and situated at 2° 46' W 55° 25' N. The inaugural meeting was held in 1939 and was independently run for almost 30 years.|
