HOKITIKA RACECOURSE
Records indicate that the Westland Racing Club was founded in 1866 and first organised a meeting at the Hokitika racecourse in 1884.
	The racecourse is situated in the West Coast region of the South Island.
The track currently hosts just 2 meetings annually run by the Westland racing Club.
	The principal race is the Miss Scenicland Stakes over 1650 metres held in March.
