LAND O' PLUMS STEEPLECHASE

over 2 1/2 miles (100 sovereigns)

Monday 2nd April 1900
The second annual hunt steeplechases were anticipated with considerable interest, eclipsing by far the excitement of the inaugural meeting. The course was in fine fettle due to the exertions of Mr J Combe, and half of the profits from the meeting have been promised to the War Fund of the Soldier's and Sailor's Families Association.
