Monticello Raceway racecourse caters for harness racing enthusiasts and is based at Monticello in the state of New York. The track, nicknamed ‘The Mighty M’, is a relatively small dirt track being only a 4 furlongs round with a 150 metre home straight, catering for a maximum of 8 runners. The track has good facilities, with a glass enclosed grandstand and Clubhouse with the capacity to seat 5,000. Its inaugural meeting took place on 27th June 1958, while its principal races are the Dr Martin Luther King Pace, the St Paddy Pace and the Mayflower Pace, all being steeped in history.
