The 159th winner of the Oaks, held on Friday 4th June 1937, was the 3/1 favourite Exhibitionist, a bay filly by Solario out of Lady Wembley, owned by Sir Victor Sassoon. A field of 13 contested the race and the winners time was 2 minutes 36.8 secs. The winner won £7,133 (Equivalent to £462,200 in 2017).
