The greyhound track at Pelaw Grange is situated at 1° 34' W 54° 52' N. Chester-le-Street is the location of the greyhound track of Pelaw Grange. Its traditional race nights in the past have been Monday, Thursday and Saturday evenings and the distances ranged from 270 yard sprints up to 990 yard extended marathons. |

The track has hosted a number of principal races throughout its history, including the Newcastle Rose Bowl over 445 yards and the Whitfields Oaks also over the same distance. | |||||
Track Records, as of September 2014, are shown below together with an indication of how fast the time is in comparison to other tracks, both for currently open and defunct tracks, in the UK. Ratings are between 0 and 100, where 100 is an extremely fast time and reflects the speed of the track, tightness of the circuit and quality of greyhound visiting the tracks. |
