The racecourse of Raceway Park was situated on the outskirts of the town of Toledo in the state of Ohio and held its inaugural race meeting in 1950. It had a track circumference of 5 and a half furlongs and at one stage could boast 33 race meetings annually. It specialised in harness racing. Its Spring meeting traditionally lasted from mid March until late April.
