With gratitude to Tony Collett for these extremely rare scans. He comments that the 1940 badges appear again as a re-release in 1947, except that the ladies badge has no membership number on the reverse. It was uncertain for along period of time whether Sandown issued a 1940 badge, the course denying this until they were donated one from a patron.
