Wales has been blessed with a number of successful greyhound stadia, notably at Cardiff and in Swansea. The so called 'South Wales' track was a GRA track which opened in 1931 at Caerphilly. It first opened its gates on 23rd May 1931 and operated very successfully as an GRA track.

This section gives a comprehensive picture of the badges produced by the track throughout the ages, but only provides the briefest of glimpses of its history. For those wishing to undertake further research we can recommend a visit to where further reading can be undertaken.
