TIMONIUM FAIR RACECOURSE
Timonium Fair racecourse is situated in the town of Timonium in the state of Maryland. It has a long, illustrious history with race meetings recorded as taking place as early as 7th September 1879. Indeed that first meet is said to have lasted 6 days. The popularity of the meeting coincides with the Maryland State Fair and can now boast 8 meets annually. It has a 5/8ths of a mile dirt track and its principal races are the Linkage Stakes, the Winning Colors Stakes and the Alma North Handicap.

I am grateful to Paul Rich who notes that the Timonium race meeting now is just seven days, in late August until Monday, Labour Day in September, racing Friday, Saturday, Sunday and Friday, Saturday, Sunday and Monday. No stakes races have been offered in the past several years.
