This site is not an official website for the track shown here and is neither approved or endorsed by the stadium. I am indebted to Richard English for helping to construct this page.

The East Lothian village of Tranent once had a greyhound track which was situated at 2° 56' W 55° 56'N. It was located at Foresters Park, off Lindores Drive, and first opened its gates on 7th July 1936. It was an independently run track, built around the perimeter of the local Junior Football ground, and operated successfully for almost 20 years, but it finally closed in the mid 1950s.

This section gives a comprehensive picture of the badges produced by the track throughout the ages, but only provides the briefest of glimpses of its history. For those wishing to undertake further research we can recommend a visit to where further reading can be undertaken.
