| The racecourse was situated at Ciudad Juarez at El Paso on the Mexican border with Texas. | ||
| Its principal race was the Juarez Handicap which was won by
Pan Zereta in 1914; she also won the Rio Grande Stakes and the Katonah Handicap in that
same year. |

On the closure of the racecourse the Group 3 Juarez Handicap was transferred to the New Mexico course of Sunland Park ( see the history of Sunland Park elsewhere on this site.)
