EDENHOPE RACECOURSE
Approached via the Wimmera Highway, Edenhope Racecourse is about 260 miles West of Melbourne in Victoria.
Racing is known to have taken place in the Edenhope area prior to the First World War on at least two different racecourses.

A new course was developed on Apsley Road and the first meeting was held on 4th October 1930. The Edenhope Race Club had been formed some months bfore and its first secretary, Cliff Cahill, had been instrumental in ensuring the success of that first meeting.
As well as the racecourse being used by the Edenhope Racing Club, it is also used by the Apsley race Club annually.
