KAWASAKI RACECOURSE  
The Kawasaki racecourse is situated in the Kanagawa region of Japan and was opened in 1906. Racing takes place on a dirt surface. The Kawasaki racecourse racecourse is famous for its night racing which began in 1995. It hosts the well known 'Super King Night Races'
  The Tokyo Derby was held here in 2008 when Dream Sky was successful.

A further claim to fame the course has is its gallery commemorating the famous jockey Takemi Sasaki who rode the extraordinary total of 7151 winners.

 
It hosts 2 Group One  races, notably the Kawasaki Kinen and Zen-Nippon Nisai Yushun for 2 year olds.
  It also holds two Group 2 races including the Kanto Oaks for 3 year old fillies run over 2100 metres.
