2009 | There are now 3 racecourses in Wales, with Ffos Las being the latest addition. It is located near the town of Trimsaran in the West of the country, and has been developed on the 650 acre site which was formerly an open cast mine. The racecourse boasts an all weather course with a running circumference of 12 furlongs. It enjoys the luxury of being able to host Flat and national Hunt meetings and has a grandstand capable to housing 1000 punters fully seated. | ||||||||
