Based on the Racecourse Road in Yea in Victoria is the Year Racecourse which has witnessed racing since the early 1900's. The original track was about 5 miles from the town.
The races were transferred to Kerr's Land until 1903. By 1904 the inaugural meeting on its current site was held, although future meetings were badly disrupted by both World Wars.

In 1930 the Club became Yea Amateur Picnic Club.
President of the Yea Racing Club is Toby McLeish whose father Oliver rode a winner at the track at the grand old age of 75.
